Meet the founders of Career Returners
Career Returners is an Irish business which helps employers to develop programmes and launch other initiatives designed to attract and support returners. We also help potential returners to navigate their way back to the workplace.
Anne-Marie Taylor set up Career Returners in 2017 when she recognised that:
- Many Irish businesses were experiencing significant gaps in the pipeline of women in management
- At the same time many women had left successful careers, often for family reasons, and now wanted to resume their careers but were unsure if employers were interested.
She established Career Returners to offer services to employers to tap into this pool of experienced professional women and, of course, men in similar situations.
Career Returners is conducting the first-ever research into the Irish returner market and is gathering insights from employers and from potential returners. If you’d like to hear more, or indeed participate in our research, please get in touch through our Contact Us page.
Anne-Marie has a background in management consulting and is an executive coach. She sits on the boards of the Public Appointments Service and of the Irish Hospice Foundation.
